Happy with the Performance, Happy with Oscar!

Coming up to this game, I was hoping RDM wouldn’t take a negative approach as he did in our last league game. From that point of view, I’m truly pleased, as the Blues actually went out to play, and didn’t sit back waiting for the old lady. Before the game, I tweeted that I was happy to see Oscar given a go as #10, but also that I was hoping Lampard would actually perform. Well let’s talk some more about this 2 points. Continue reading

Thoughts on the QPR game

Coming up to the Reading game this past weekend, I was very excited about the potential lineup. There were rumors of Piazon making an appearance for the first team after being omitted from the reserves’ game a few days prior. In addition, with Mata being left out, I was hoping to see Oscar get his first start, or possibly Victor Moses. One thing for sure, I certainly didn’t expect RDM to field Bertrand and Ramires either side of Hazard. Continue reading

Stop the Non-Sense

Rumors flooded the net today that Christiano Ronaldo might be looking to get away from the beurnabeu. Ok the world’s best played player didn’t celebrate after scoring a brace vs Granada last weekend, and went on to say he didn’t do so because he was “sad”.  Sure the only explanation to that must be that he wants to leave the club… come on .. get a grip! My Take on Raul Meireles’ Sale

You must know it by now, Raul Meireles is officially a Fenerbahce player. The Portuguese player who was brought in for 12 million pounds last summer has now been sold for 8 million pounds to the Turkish club. While I was no great fan of his, I admit he made a rather solid overall squad player, providing cover for virtually every position in midfield (though he was a liability anytime he was tried as lone holding midfielder).

Hello people!

Sorry I’ve been away for this long, but guess what? I’m back now!

Where should I start? Well maybe with the recent activities and news surrounding Chelsea FC. For once in the past 3 years, I was delighted with the club’s recent transfer policy. Chelsea dipped very early into the market, got their main target in Eden Hazard, and allowed him to gel with the current squad during pre-season. If I had to pick a single player to reinforce the squad over the summer, it would’ve been exactly him: Eden Hazard.
